After a great Quarterly Business review today, it was time to get some drinks, relax and enjoy some food! The place selected by vote was Evo. Service was great! Everyone I interacted with was friendly. We were greeted immediately and brought to our table. We had drinks in hand within minutes and appetizers ordered shortly after. We ordered a decent number of appetizers, but my fav was the Whipped Feta, it was amazing! For my entree I went with the Fennel Sausage pasta which I thought was great as well. I'm leaving full and satisfied for certain. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd definitely go back for a second taste!

We both enjoyed dinner tonight that included a meatball marinara, chopped salad, octopus, and frito miso. They were uniquely prepared and all delicious. Service was good too. We were there at happy hour and so everyone was having a good time with friends. There's another Evo in Scottsdale which has more of a fine dining menu. Going there this week too. We both love Italian food!!! Ps Fourth day being married. Hooray Harriet D.

Service was great. Absolutely zero complaints with every one I interacted with. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good. Mussels took me by surprise and I enjoyed it more than anticipated. May have been my favorite dish. The lobster gnocchi was a bit disappointing. It was a little tough and I didn't think the gnocchi was very good. The dish was also overly creamy and too thick. Flavor was still good. Closing it out with the tiramisu made the whole experience great. It was very enjoyable. If I'm ever back in town I'll definitely try one of their pizzas. Pictures people have posted here looks so good. Looking forward to coming back.

Made reservations for 9 for a Sunday night; we were seated pretty soon after we arrived. Off the bat, the place itself was pretty loud, I felt I had to shout at my friends most of the night to hear. Dim lighting, romantic ambience, dark leather seats but I can't say I enjoyed the smell. Let's get onto the food- My friend and I split three items by starting with the focaccia. I was pleasantly surprised; the creaminess from the cheese was perfectly complimented by the chewiness of the bread and sweetness of honey. The evo salad was next, I'm glad we split this bc I was getting a bit tired of the taste. It had a lot of fun textures and flavors but just got old quickly. For our main, we ordered the bolognese. The pasta was perfectly al dente with a nice and meaty sauce. We were celebrating two bachelorettes at this party and our server brought out two free desserts which was really sweet- fried donuts with three sauces and tiramisu. Also! Half off a bottle of wine on Sunday, so we took advantage of that as well. Overall, was pleasantly surprised at this dining experience- great food, top notch service, and reasonable pricing! Would come again!

Pros: Locally sourced ingredients Friendly, knowledgeable staff Easy parking Large dining area Amazing meatballs and sauce EVO salad had a wonderful array of textures with crispy kale, tender brussels and pancetta Cons: A little pricey, but well worth it Pro tip: Check in on Yelp and you'll get a glass of Limoncello!

The restaurant itself was cute -- I liked the simple rustic interior and the dim lighting made for a good date night ambiance! Nothing completely blew me away, but it was enjoyable, portions were large and met the price point. The meatballs in the meatball appetizer plate were juicy and huge! Definitely good for sharing. The focaccia appetizer was also very big; if I were to go again, I wouldn't get this just for two people but maybe a larger group, as we didn't even make a dent in it. It was also more of a stuffed flatbread than traditional focaccia, but still a tasty option for a cheesy/carby appetizer (also a little on the sweeter side). I really enjoyed the lobster gnocchi entree. The lobster tail was big and tender (cooked very well), and the gnocchis were also large and doughy, which I like! Both the sauces on the lobster gnocchi and on the chile shrimp were good but not anything special -- in my opinion they both could've been a little thicker/creamier and had richer flavor (for instance, the chile shrimp could've had a bit of a kick added to it). Service was standard and food came out pretty quick. Our waiter expressed he was overly concerned we would fill up on focaccia and sent our entrees out very soon after. While I don't disagree that we didn't need the full focaccia, as mentioned above, it felt a little rushed. All in all this was a good meal and made for a fun night out! Would say this is probably more of a 4.5/5.

We had an enjoyable evening here a couple weeks back. We sat on the patio which was just okay. It's a patio that is right against a busy road and in the parking lot so take it for what it is. The service was outstanding. They have a very nice menu with some great options. We got the chicken Parmigiana which was well prepared. The chicken was tender the sauce was flavorful. The pasta is homemade. The fennel sausage was just okay. The pasta was again homemade and delicious. The fennel might have been just a little bit on the large side. I truly expected more flavor from this dish. I will definitely be back to try this restaurant again in the future.

While visiting old town, Phoenix on a vacation. I was introduced to Evo by a friend, where we went for dinner. It quickly became one of my favorite locations to dine at while in town. We arrived around 9pm and the place was jumping (that means everyone was having fun). The dining tables were filled, music was playing and drinks, were flowing. We happily got a table outside to enjoy the nice warm evening weather and clear skies. We had a few cocktails (sadly I don't remember the names). But they were so tasty and enjoyable drinks. We were introduced to a really amazing guy named Jamar. He was such an awesome employee, who is: friendly, attentive (to every detail) and made us feel welcomed. But he is also very passionate about what he does. He represents EVO to the highest level. I ordered the: Arancini (for appetizers), Alfredo and my friend ordered the: Prime Fillet. All were Sooo good. The filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the Alfredo was creamy and tasty. Most of the night we spent drinking and laughing about anything and everything. Thats the energy that EVO, gives off. You can come for dinner, Happy Hour etc. and you will enjoy yourself. We came back three different times during the week long stay in town. Everything we had (multiple meals and even more drinks) was delicious and filling. Worth every penny. We really Loved our meals at EVO and enjoyed the vibe this location gave me. I would highly recommend making a reservation though. Especially, if you plan on dining on a Friday or Saturday evening. This location is definitely on my return list and would love to come here every time I'm in town. This place gives off such great energy!
